Michael Saylor Tax Fraud Allegation
It’s not been long since Michael Saylor sailed from his CEO role and into his new role of Chairman at MicroStrategy.
Well, the start is certainly not going as expected with Washington DC’s Attorney General accusing Saylor of avoiding more than $25m of taxes.
It is alleged the now Chairman is being sued for tax fraud as he pretended to live in Florida when in-fact resided in Washington DC.
This claim arose from Private Jet Logs with Saylor openly bragging about tax evasion.
As always, we provide information and not advice, but we will stick our neck out with this one….. do not brag about a crime in public.
Hackers Attempt to Sell NFT of World Leader’s Stolen Passport
As far as world leader’s go Belarus don’t top the popularity contest.
Well, a hacking group within the country, known as The Belarusian Cyber Partisans, has been attempting to sell an NFT with what they claim to be Alexander Lukashenko’s passport information.
The group also outlined that they intend to sell NFTs containing the passport data of other senior government figures with ties to Lukashenko.
What do you reckon outgoing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Passport NFT would be worth and why is it 0.2 ETH.
Venture Capital Investments set to double
We love hearing about the continued growth of our space after all we are here to take over.
In what was a huge positive boost to the industry it has been announced that Venture Capital Firms invested $33bn in crypto and blockchain startups and are on pace to nearly double this sum in 2022.
As a new startup involved in Web3 our investment memo was clearly missed.
Proof Collective Next Step Raises Impressive Sum
We recently informed you that Proof Collective will release full details of their next steps at the ‘Future Proof’ conference in august….we have a big update.
It’s been announced that the company will be moving it’s collection completely “in chain” meaning that images will be fully contained within the underlying smart contract.
The announcements didn’t just stop there…. $50m has been raised in a Series A funding round.
What’s a blue-chip project that doesn’t announce exciting news in 3s….. exactly.
The next big announcement was that the first official expansion of Moonbirds known as Moonbird Mythics is expected to launch early next year with the collection containing 20,000 NFTs.
Ticketmaster Finds Partner to Roll Out NFT Tickets
This is what we told you last month…..“We have already witnessed paper tickets virtually phased out for digital tickets and with Ticketmaster being the driving force of the NFT ticket space this move could happen sooner rather than later.
The driving force have lapped the competition and are zooming into the distance with their latest partnership.
The ticketing giants have partnered with Blockchain firm Dapper Labs with the purpose of issuing NFTs for live events.
The NFTs are to serve as a sharable form of digital memorabilia.
In case you aren’t aware of Ticketmaster’s NFT activity to date, they have created a wallet feature on its website as well as a digital marketplace.
Their previous mint of 70,000 Superbowl tickets was such a success the partnership with the NFL has been extended
It’s a long way back into the distance for Ticketmaster’s competitors as they are lapped for the 2nd time.

REKT SECTION 😡
It’s not often a REKT story will contain both parties but such is life there are always exceptions.
Unnamed Australian Citizen and Crypto.com…… Welcome to REKT
The story goes as follows:
An unnamed Australian Citizen sought a $100 refund from the Exchange site Crypto.com in May last year.
All seems fairly normal so far…. until Crypto.com accidentally sent the citizen $10m and did not realize that this error had been made until 7 months later during an end-of-year audit.
Knowingly in receipt of the incorrect sum, the Citizen thought they hit the jackpot and decided to spend the sum on a mansion in the Melbourne suburb of Craigieburn, complete with a home cinema and gym.
Well, the matter ended up in the hands of the court and a judge has now reportedly ordered the property be sold and for the exchange’s money to be paid back.
An embarrassing ordeal for all involved.
